All errors share one envelope:

Code	HTTP	Message / what to do
`invalid_parameter`	400	A parameter is invalid. `param` names it.
`invalid_cursor`	400	The cursor is malformed or expired. Start the search again without a cursor.
`inline_too_large`	400	MCP download inline is limited to 1 MiB. Fetch file_url instead.
`invalid_api_key`	401	That API key didn't work. Check it, or remove it to keep searching without one.
`maintainer_only`	403	include=pending needs a maintainer key.
`not_found`	404	No such asset, version, or pack. Pending assets also return 404 publicly.
`method_not_allowed`	405	Only GET and HEAD are supported (POST for /mcp).
`gone`	410	Not available for download. This asset was rejected, so its file URLs return 410 Gone. The body includes a tombstone `asset` object.
`rate_limited`	429	You've hit the search limit for now. Try again in a moment, or add a free API key for higher limits. See `Retry-After`.
`internal_error`	500	Something went wrong. Quote the request_id at support@spritefetch.com.
`unavailable`	503	The catalog (or, for mode=semantic, the embedder) is temporarily unavailable.
